Layer is a continuous flow of living art, designed to bring ultra-modern fine art into people’s lives – a celebration of minimalism and simplicity, accentuating mood and emotion.
Working in collaboration with design studio DEMO, Cast created an industrial design language strategy and framework for Layer’s museum-grade canvas.
This bridge between brand and design enabled the founding team to understand the designers’ intent, weeks before DEMO finalised the concept and months before the first prototype was built.
The framework will guide every piece of hardware Layer will produce, ensuring brand continuity and consistency and presenting digital art in its full potential.
